Hospitality Honorable Mention
Presented to Dick Clark Architecture

Project Description
This restaurant is located in the luxurious Victory Park mixed-use development in Dallas. The 2 story sushi restaurant functions equally well as an eatery, a lounge, and the club it transforms into late in the evening. People go to eat, to hear, to see, and to be seen. It is a space that transforms with the progression of the evening and the evolving program. Translucent curtains provide privacy for intimate diners in generous booths. Glass rails on the second level insure that the diners above see the revelers below and vice versa. Richly striated bamboo, milky glass panels, delicately lit wine cellars, diaphanous fabrics, and artfully served cuisine create a lavish multi-sensory experience that engages even the most discerning sensualist. Fiber optic chandelier, cold cathode coves and panels, and “Cradle to Cradle” carpet tiles make the environmental impact minimal.
