Position Description – Interior Designer
We welcome Registered Interior Designer candidates who are eager to take on the following responsibilities and possess the skills and credentials listed below:

Responsibilities:
Works in a collaborative team environment, leading the development of the project’s building program and interior design, including furnishings, color and material palettes, and preparing project documentation appropriate to each phase
Prepares presentation materials, including renderings, to communicate design ideas and guide our clients through the design process, bringing well-considered options to them for review and timely decision-making
Researches and assesses manufacturers’ materials and systems
Understands the technical implications of design decisions and contributes to the development and documentation of a practical, buildable design that is coordinated with architecture and engineering systems Represents the firm well in project meetings and industry events and continues to build a professional network of clients, consultants, and peers Leads and mentors less-experienced staff
Assists in business development and marketing efforts

8-12 years of experience
Dynamic, creative, and detail-oriented
Well-organized and able to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong communication and presentation skills and a creative design aptitude. Very proficient in Revit Architecture with experience in both preliminary design and construction drawings documentation
Proficient in 3-D modeling and rendering in 3-D modeling software
Professional degree in interior design from an accredited program
LEED or WELL Building Design accreditation, or on the path to accreditation, preferred
Interior Design licensure preferred or on the path to licensure within one year.
