Restructure Studio would like to grow its small team with the addition of an experienced Interior Designer to lead the business’ expansion into both full-service residential design (Architecture + Interiors/Furniture) as well as Interior-Only projects. In collaboration with the architectural design team, this individual will lead the selection of architectural finishes and the design and drafting of interior spaces. The ideal candidate will create cohesive interiors from fixture selections to textiles and have the ability to lead the furniture procurement process from quotes to samples and purchase orders.

The position is highly flexible, but will require some in-person work at our office in Austin, TX and on project sites. Compensation may be salaried or hourly, at a rate commensurate with experience. Health benefits and paid vacation will be available to candidates who can commit to 35+ hours per week.

• Available to work 20-40 hours per week
• Bachelor or Master Degree in Interior Design
• 2-5 years experience in Interior Design
• Proficiency in Drafting required (creation of RCP, Finish Plan, Elevations)
• Experience in AutoCAD, ArchiCAD or Revit, SketchUp preferred
• Experience with the furniture procurement process and software strongly preferred
• Knowledge of local Austin trade resources and showrooms
• High-level of organization and creative problem-solving
• Ability to communicate ideas effectively and interface with clients professionally
