We are seeking a Healthcare Studio Lead with 15+ years of healthcare design experience.
You will join a close knit and collaborative team with a commitment to quality design and impeccable customer service.
- Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from an accredited University program.
Interior Designer Registration.
15+ years of healthcare interior design experience.
Oversees and manages multiple large scale projects all at once.
Experience in the design and technical development of a variety of healthcare projects.
Proficient in all phases of design from concept through construction administration.
Experience with CSI Master Spec specifications software.
Comprehensive knowledge of materials, furnishings and construcion methods.
Comprehensive knowledge of building systems, codes and ADA requirements.
Experience coordinating with other related trades such as Architects, MEP Engineers, Acoustical Engineers, and other consultants as well as code officials and contractors.
Manages healthcare staff, assigns tasks, oversees work and provides feedback to staff assigned to projects.
Oversees and reviews all work of healthcare team members.
Ensure design team meets project budget requirements in recommending materiality, furniture, millwork and design elements.
Ability to train and mentor Designers to encourage independent learning.
Works with design team to shape and understand design concepts.
Develops skills of staff for future projects.
Conducts reviews and interviews of design team.
Manages client expectations and communication.
Presents and gains approval of concepts to the client.
Manages overall client relationships and ensures positive relationships.
Demonstrated ability to write and negotiate contracts for interior design and furniture planning services.
Demonstrated ability to create budgets.
Ensures all project deadlines are met and delivered per project schedule.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
Seeks continuing professional development (industry knowledge, product and technology innovations, managerial and leadership development) by attending industry events.
Participates in marketing strategy sessions and presentation.
Participates in industry organizations to develop marketing opportunities.
A commitment to providing top notch customer service and the ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
Ability to be present at a job site for project walk-throughs, overseeing furniture installations, meetings with project representatives or other necessary activities. Time required varies and is dependent upon project needs and requirements.
Proficient in Revit, Enscape, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Adobe
Creative Suite as well as Microsoft Office programs
