○ JOINT EVENT FOR DALLAS & FORT WORTH CITY CENTERS! We have chartered buses from both cities to the Frasch Acoustics Factory in Grand Prairie – take a CEU onboard the bus while you ride to the event, then enjoy refreshments provided by Frasch and guided tours of their new factory.
• CHARTER TRANSPORTATION from FORT WORTH will meet at Royer and departs promptly at 5pm to arrive at Frasch between 5:30 and 6pm. You will arrive in time for their reception and guided tour!
• CHARTER TRANSPORTATION from DALLAS will meet at IRG and departs promptly at 5pm to arrive at Frasch between 5:30 and 6pm.
• CEU Course Description: Frasch’s CEU “Acoustics & The Modern Human”
o Rapidly changing trends in our society, such as urbanization and modern lifestyle, have resulted in the isolation of humans from our experiences within nature. Early research has shown that psychological effects of biophilic design on noise perception have a significant influence on well-being and health such as focus, information retention, productivity and creativity. In this course, we will identify these potential problems and the effects of them; as well as outline different corrective actions to mitigate/lessen the issues.
• You are also welcome to drive yourself to this event, arriving between 5:30 and 6pm.
